INTERNSHIPS
Educational Programs Intern
The Educational Programs Intern will play a crucial role in assisting our Director of Education with the planning, development, and implementation of engaging art programs tailored for children. This hands-on internship offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in the museum education field while contributing to the growth and impact of our educational initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the Director of Education to plan and organize creative and age-appropriate art programs for children, including workshops, interactive exhibits, and special events.
• Assist in the setup, facilitation, and coordination of children's programs and activities, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for participants.
• Plan and coordinate our Art Start program for pre-school aged children and their families.
• Coordinate and facilitate STEAM programming both at the museum and in our partnered outreach facilities.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas for new educational programs that align with our museum's mission and target audience.

This internship position has the opportunity for flexible hours to accommodate for academic commitments. As an intern, you will receive valuable mentorship and hands-on experience in the museum education field.
